SAUCY ~ Size 14, 15 and 16 Wigs for Dolls

SAUCY... This lovely wig has a center part with bangs and sausage curls pulled into side ponytails and tied with ribbon.

This is how the Saucy wig looks, with cute little curly ponytails on each side. A pink ribbon is included (not shown in photos.)

This wig is available in every size from 5 inches up to 16 inches. Saucy is available in six colors as shown (although we may not have every color in every size.)
The wigs are excellent quality, very well made. The cap is stretch knit so the wigs do adapt to head sizes that are slightly larger or smaller than the indicated size.
The hair fiber on these wigs is very fine and very soft, but it is also very good quality and can be restyled if desired. In fact, you can do a lot of things with these wigs!

If you want to set those curls free, just remove the rubber bands and run your fingers through the hair. In seconds you will have a new curly do that is adorable. The Saucy wig has a center part front and back, but the curls hide the part, so it doesn't show.
You can straighten the curls, if you want. This photo shows a blonde wig WITH the curls, and another blonde wig that has been straightened. The wigs are almost the same size. So, the ponies are very long.
To straighten the curls, dip the ponytails in boiled water. I heat the water to boiling, then remove from heat and dip only the ponytails in the water. Don't overdo it or the hair fiber might become damaged. As you dip the ponies, you will see the curls relax and straighten out.
The hair fiber is good quality and tolerates the boiling water method that is popular with doll collectors and pony collectors.

The straight ponies can be used as is. Or braided. This is one of the MAIN reasons why I wanted these Saucy wigs: because braided wigs are hard to find and they are expensive. Braids can start ~ $13 for small wigs, on up to $30 for the large sizes. Many of my vintage dolls were waiting for wigs with braids! (And, at this price everybody can have new hair!)

Here are more dolls with their new braids. The Block doll wears a size 8. The Helen Kish Nicole doll wears a size 6.
If you want a bit of Whimsy... this wig was braided without straightening the curls first. Very sassy... would be fun for fantasy characters.

Size 15 and 16 are for large dolls. The wig looks cute as is, or you can take out the ribbons, and let the sausage curls be loose.

Or, better yet... you can run your fingers through the sausage curls and within seconds have this attractive curly hairstyle. The auburn wig is shown in the photo.
The back view shows that the center part is hidden by the curls so it's not a problem. This wig is very easy to restyle. The wig in the photo is size 16. The cap doesn't cover this Playpal size head entirely, but if you restyle the hair into a curly do, the wig does work very well for the big Playpal dolls.

I hope you're not confused, now... THIS is how the wig comes, in the package: two ponytails in sausage curls. And it also comes with lots of possibilities for other styles, which are up to you. :)
