Because Nail Polish can get gummy over time, it's a good idea to use a primer coat first and finish with a a topcoat. The primer and topcoat should something other than nail polish. We recommend the JoSonja acrylic primer as an undercoat. You can also use it as a topcoat, or use one of our Delta polyurethane topcoats in your choice of matte, satin or gloss. These products will help to preserve the polish.

For best results, apply very, very thin coats and dry thoroughly between each application.
