The short flat blade screwdriver is useful for prying apart the pieces on vinyl dolls. Just be careful not to poke a hole through the vinyl!

I think every reborn artist has learned the hard way that you can't just pull on the vinyl pieces of your doll when you take it apart... often there are thin spots or weak spots in the vinyl flange. The weak spots will rip when you pull on it. Once this happens the piece is ruined.

So, we recommend that you use a wide screwdriver blade to carefully pry the pieces apart. This short stubby screwdriver allows you to get close to your work so you have better control. .
