1 & 2 Thinning Shears for Wispy Hair Styles.
Thinning shears are an essential item for working
with doll hair, in my opinion. I have an ancient pair
that is somewhat rusted and is probably 40 years old
or more. They work great, so you don't need fancy
expensive scissors. I have seen professional quality
thinning shears for $24.99 but unless you're a hair
stylist the inexpensive shears that we offer here may be all you need
for working with dolls.
The shears are made of good
quality ice tempered steel. These are the wide tooth
style which I prefer (28 tooth.)
We have the single side thinning shears, which have been the most popular for dolls. (Double side thinning shears have teeth on both blades rather than just one.) How to Apply & Style Wigs with Thinning Shears 3 Barber Shears for Cutting Hair! I have an
expensive pair of Singer brand scissors for cutting
hair, and I also have a pair of these. I can't tell the
difference. They look the same, feel the same, cut the
same. The only difference is the Singer name brand
on my "expensive" shears. These are the longer 7.5
inch shears (not the short trimming shears.) 4 Trimmer Scissors Here is a nice handy pair of small scissors for trimming and clipping. I have these laying around everywhere, easy to grab when I'm working. They are 4" trimmers. One is not enough. |
