Plastic Cleaner: 1 Pint Can or 2 oz. Bottles
This is a cleaner for plastics and vinyl. I use it constantly on dolls. It removes some inks and paints easily from the dolls, and cleans the vinyl without harming it. The plastic cleaner does not affect the doll's face paint either, although I will not guarantee that. Sometimes it does remove the face paint on older dolls especially so caution is advised on painted areas.
NOT A STAIN REMOVER ~
Plastic Cleaner is a cleaning agent, not a stain remover like Oxy10. I always try plastic cleaner on an ink spot first to see if the ink will come off the easy way, and many times it does remove scuffs that soap and water will not. If you have bad stains on your doll that you want to remove, you may want to try
~ OXY10 ACNE CREAM ~ instead (available in the health/beauty section of most stores.)
SAFER THAN ACETONE FOR VINYL ~
Plastic Cleaner is much safer for vinyl or plastics than cleaners such as acetone (nail polish remover) which has never been recommended for dolls and the old-timers are quick to tell me that. Acetone can damage plastics and leave a white film. Plastic cleaner works as effectively as acetone to remove gum or paint or ink or dirt, without risk of damaging the plastic/vinyl material.
VERY USEFUL AROUND THE HOME ~
Plastic cleaner can be used to remove gum labels, tape residue, white-out, ink, grease and toner without harming plastic. It removes scuff marks. It removes paint rubs - have you noticed that lots of dolls have white paint marks on them from being bounced off of walls as little girls run around the house? Plastic cleaner even removes nail polish. Is also good for cleaning automobile bumpers and many plastic or vinyl items around the house.
CLEANING ARTIST BRUSHES ~
I use Plastic Cleaner all the time to clean my craft brushes. It removes paint, glue, etc.
HELPFUL FOR BLUSHING & BLENDING ~
Not only do I used Plastic Cleaner for cleaning old dolls, I also use it when apply face colors and blush colors to dolls. It is helpful for blending blush colors. And if I don't like the way the face color turned out, Plastic cleaner will remove the color and I can start over.
AVAILABLE IN 2 SIZES ~
We buy the plastic cleaner in bulk now in order to offer better savings to our customers. Plastic Cleaner is available in a 16 oz. pint size can (with a safety seal lid inside the cap that must be removed with a screwdriver and thrown away the first time you open it.)
And, we have 2 oz. bottles of the plastic cleaner. This is a very nice sampler size if you want to try it out, and 2 oz. does last a long time. We refill the bottles from the 16 oz can because the bottle is just the right size to work with.

Plastic cleaner must be shipped by UPS because it is a solvent/chemical that is flammable. We cannot ship this item by priority mail.
