This white cloth doll body is a perfect replacement for the cloth body on the vintage Little Huggums dolls by Madame Alexander. The original, worn and torn Huggums body is shown on the right, the replacement white doll body on the left. You can see they are nearly identical in size and shape. Only the color is different.

The small 12" Huggums dolls were very popular as a "first babydoll" for young babies. As a result, we've never had a vintage Huggums that didn't have worn out paws (hands or feet), because babies loved to chew on the small parts of the doll.

It's very easy to swap the body. Loosen the wire or tie that is around the doll's neck, and pull off the old body. Then put the new doll body neck over the neck flange of the head, and pull the cable tie snug. That's all there is to it!

The white doll bodies have a Susan Wakeen label on them, so apparently they are leftover from a production of Wakeen dolls. The bodies are new, never used.

Each cloth body sold will come with the flannel jammies shown in this photo. You get the white doll body, the cable tie for the neck, and the flannel jammies.

Stuffing is not included. You do need to stuff the body before you put the head on.
