Knickerbocker Megan!
The Magic Attic Club dolls are very beautiful 18" vinyl play dolls which are fully jointed and strung. The dolls were designed and sculpted by Robert Tonner, who is one of the most talented and popular doll sculptors today. Robert Tonner sold the MAC dolls to Knickerbocker, then Knickerbocker sold to MarianLLC (Marie Osmond's company) and MarianLLC has now sold to Charisma Brands... But through it all, Robert Tonner continued to design outfits for each generation of lovely Magic Attic dolls.
This Megan doll was originally made when Knickerbocker still had them. Of all the generations of MAC dolls, I believe Knickerbocker probably made the best quality dolls. The Knickerbocker dolls have durable wigged hair that is intended for child play. The MAC dolls are more slender and graceful than the American Girl dolls. The AG clothes and shoes tend to be a bit large on Magic Attic dolls. MAC dolls can wear the Tolly Girl clothes, Battat, Next Generation etc. which are a little smaller than AG in clothing as well as shoe sizes. Here is our selection of clothing for Magic Attic: We have a large selection of shoes to fit the MAC dolls. PLEASE NOTE: Megan is NEW. She comes with hairbrush and magic key necklace in the original box. There is no book. The doll will come dressed as shown , in original yellow MAC Knickerbocker outfit.
