Effanbee Patsy ~ Jack & Jill

My new favorite dolls! Here are Patsy as Jack and Jill, dressed in quaint old world costumes with beautiful embroidery. Look at Jill's gorgeous red braids! This special set is adorable, and it's the only set we know of that includes Patsy as a boy doll. Jack & Jill's pail is included.

Patsy is a vintage reproduction made with the gorgeous Tonner vinyl. (Robert Tonner bought the Effanbee company.) Patsy is fully jointed and strung in the old fashioned manner. Patsy was introduced by Effanbee as a composition doll in the 1930's. I don't think she was ever made in vinyl until Tonner resurrected this charming classic that has been adored by doll collectors for 75 years or more.
