This dress was originally made for the Angel of Hope, by Lee Middleton Dolls. I don't know if the original doll had wings, but none are included with this set. It appears that a ribbon on the back of the gown may have been used to tie on a set of wings, if desired.

The gown is very pretty and does not have to be used for angels. It is a lovely dress-up gown and is perfect for a Princess ensemble.

Matching slippers, white bloomers and a tiny Bible are included with the gown.

The beaded wire "halo" is also included.

Kissy, Terri Lee and the older 16" Adora Belle (with flat feet) can wear the same clothes, pretty much. Kissy is shorter but has nearly the same body shape. All these dolls are stocky through the body. They can also wear many of the Magic Attic Club fashions, even though MAC dolls are 18 inches tall, the body is nearly the same size and shape. Magic Attic cannot wear this silver angel gown because it's too short for them.
