Berenguer dolls are sculpted by master artist Salvatore Berenguer of Spain, who has been creating special dolls for children worldwide, for more than 25 years.

Berenguer does not measure around the bend in the knee when they determine the size of a doll. (Traditionally, this is the way bent-knee babydolls are measured: from the head down the body and around the bent knee to the heel of the foot.) So this LaNewborn babydoll is more like 15-16" babydolls, even though Berenguer lists them as 14 inches.
