Imperial Crown

This is a very unique item, because it's nearly impossible to find "royal" crowns for dolls. These cute little plastic crowns fit head sizes from 10" up to 14". They are 3.5" wide and 5 inches high.

These crowns are very impressive as they are, but if you want to customize with additional "jewels" or an ermine trim around the base, you can do that because the crown is made of plastic. Craft glue such as E6000 will work very well.

If you want velvet or satin fabric over the dome, the crown does come apart in three pieces: the cross, the colored dome and the gold crown unit. The cross has a little clip, inside the crown: use a needlenose pliers to pinch the clip and the three pieces will come apart. NOTE: The gold crowns are one piece and do not come apart.

This is a special purchase, discontinued item. Do you recognize where these imperial crowns came from? They were dome covers for air fresheners for cars: very popular in the mid 90's. In fact, Snopes.com has a lengthy article about them. These crowns are no longer being made. We were lucky to find some old warehouse stock.
